Gatherings are a Sherwood tradition dating back to 2008, when the land was first purchased. These open to the public, free of charge, community-building events tend to follow a template.

Friday nights, there is live music at the Trip to Jerusalem Pub.

Saturday mornings, volunteers help around the faire site with tasks such as touching up paint, trimming trees, tending gardens, etc., with a pizza lunch served to those who helped that afternoon. Saturday evenings we typically have a pot luck dinner, a bonfire, fire dancers, and drummers as participants commune into the wee hours.

Sherwood opens at noon Dec. 10 and event closes at noon Dec. 13, 2021.
