Join the City of Elgin, Texas in celebration of Dia de los Muertos on the evening of Thursday, Nov. 4. Learn more about Dia de los Muertos at the Elgin Public Library and downtown. A community altar will be at Firewild, 201 N. Main Street, and traditional altars will be on display downtown along with a strolling mariachi band and a free screening of the movie Coco. Local volunteers will also be sharing the history and significance of this holiday with attendees.
