Gatherings are a Sherwood tradition dating back to 2008, when the land was first purchased. These open to the public, free of charge, community-building events tend to follow a template. Friday night, enjoy a live music performance at the Trip to Jerusalem Pub. Saturday morning, volunteers help around the faire site with tasks such as touching up paint, trimming trees, tending gardens, etc., with a pizza lunch served to those who helped that afternoon. Saturday evenings typically include a pot luck dinner, bonfire, fire dancers and drummers as we commune into the wee hours. Sundays, the site closes by noon.
