The McDade Street Dance will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022, the night before the McDade Watermelon Festival with live music by Kenny Orts & No Chance Band.

The McDade Texas Watermelon Festival is the 2nd Saturday of July on the festival grounds and will host an old-fashioned watermelon weigh-in (downtown), car show, downtown parade, watermelon eating contest, riding mower rodeo, washer tournament, food and drink, live music and a free melon feast. Free admission to the festival.
