The Colorado River Walks invite everyone to walk for fun, fitness and friendship during an AVA sanctioned volksmarch through downtown Bastrop, Texas. The event features both a 5K and a 10K walk where you will see numerous art galleries, the higher education Art Institute of Austin, and the renamed Pyrology Foundry. Along the way you will see historic medallions embedded in the sidewalk, historical buildings and a bit of the El Camino Real de los Texas, the thoroughfare from the 18th century Spanish colonial era.
