The 14-mile annual race on the Colorado River is held by the Texas Canoe and Kayak Racing Association to determine the best in the state. The race runs from the Utley Boat Ramp (FM 969 Bridge) at the Colorado River to Fisherman’s Park in Bastrop, Texas. To race, you can sign up online. Spectators also welcomed to cheer on their favorite teams and racers.

• 7:30 a.m. Race meeting at Fisherman’s Park. Rising Phoenix Adventures Shuttle will run people to start but you must reserve your space by calling Jami at 512-677-2305.
• 8 a.m. Race Day Registration
• 9 a.m. Race Start

Age Divisions (men’s and women’s—note that you must enter the division of your youngest team member except for Jr’s–both have to be <18):
• Jr’s (<18)
• Open (18-39)
• Masters (40-49)
• Senior (50-59)
• Veteran (60-69)
• Grand Veteran (70+)

• Mixed Seniors (50+)
• Adult/Youth (Youth must be <18)

Awards given to the TCKRA Aluminum Champions in Men’s/Women’s (Jr, Open, and 50+), Mixed (Open and 50+), and Adult/Youth. Special recognition given to age division winners.
