Bastrop Christian Outreach Center (BCOC), just west of Bastrop, welcomes The Honor Choir on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, at our 9:30 a.m. morning worship service to sing a selection of Christmas songs as all celebrate together the birth of Christ.

Founded by Bill Owens in 2009, The Honor Choir with its youth singers has as its first priority supporting the Children’s Advocacy Center’s efforts to prevent child abuse. Their guiding song “We Sing for the Children” by Mary Lynn Lightfoot has become the name of the annual April event held at the Bastrop County Courthouse.
The Honor Choir performs annually at over a dozen community events and also by special invitation, and they also have a smaller choir, FAITH that performs at several local churches and with The Honor Choir.
