This four-hour workshop with Instructor, Jacqueline Smith, provides students basic information about acrylic paint, color theory, and primary tools used in creative expression. Creatives will engage in discussion about the application of the painting process and create a still-life painting at the Lost Pines Art Center in Bastrop, Texas.

Class focus is:

• Discuss basic color theory
• Practice several painting techniques
• Practice painting with brushes and palette knives
• Make a color chart
• Paint a Still Life

All supplies are provided. Absolute beginners are welcome. No art experience necessary. Class is for age 16+. Feel free to bring a beverage and snack for the short break.
