Bastrop County Historical Society 7th Community Wide Garage and Estate Sale
November 3 @ 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
7:00am - 3:00pm
The Bastrop County Historical Society’s Community-wide Garage & Estate Sale helps to raise funds to support the operations of the BCHS Museum & Visitor Center by offering quality products at a low price to Bastrop families who need a broad assortment of clothing and household items. In the process, BCHS produces one of the county’s largest recycling projects, saving many of the donations from the landfills!
BCHS works diligently to secure a wide range of practical goods that experience has shown that many of our local families need. Last year, more than 200 donors contributed clothing for all ages, baby equipment, toys, home goods, gardening, plants, furniture, electronics, office supplies, medical equipment, sporting goods, art, jewelry, vintage, and antique items– enough items to fill a 10,000 square foot building! Over 186 volunteers worked diligently for over a month to sort, mend, clean, and price the donations to achieve the goal of our community-wide garage sale —- practical merchandise — good quality —- low price.
