Each year the historical Bastrop County Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission Celebration Walk is hosted by one of the three cities in Bastrop County, Texas. In 2022, the Walk is in Bastrop, Texas, and the Celebration will be held virtually.

At 10 a.m., the Celebration Walk starts at Paul Quinn AME Church, 1108 Walnut St., Bastrop, Texas and will proceed along a route of historically significant sites and end at the Bastrop Convention Center, 1408 Chestnut St. Expect singing, talks and more in this family-friendly, historic event.

At 11 a.m., the Celebration program, featuring many inspiring speakers and talented entertainers will be conducted VIRTUALLY over the City of Bastrop Facebook page and via Zoom. Visit www.cityofbastrop.org/MLK for more information.
