Join Bastrop State Park in Central Texas in celebrating 100 Years of Texas State Parks at the Bastrop Field and Fun Fest on Saturday, Nov.4th.

You can start the day off by joining a Texas Master Naturalist guided hike – Predators of the Pines – or bring your bike out to decorate and join us in a bicycle parade on the paved Tree Army Trails. On the hour every hour, we will have a fun event like the Predators of the Pines guided hike, Civilian Conservation Corps Walking Tour of this historic CCC Park, Birding 101 walk, Houston Toad Hop sack race, and a frontier baseball game called Trap Ball lead by the Buffalo Soldiers. You’ll also have time to walk around to many booths and activities from the Fort Worth Zoo, TPWD entomologist, Buffalo Soldiers, TPWD Biologist, Lost Pines Master Naturalist, Bastrop Audubon, Friends of the Lost Pines and several more!  and enjoy plenty of fun activities.

Entry to a park is free on the day it hosts an official 100-Year celebration event.
