Enjoy a weekend full of history, African-American culture, music, food and fun for the entire family during Bastrop, TX annual Bastrop Juneteenth Celebration, “Recognition ~ Restoration ~ Celebration.” The two-day event includes the annual Friday night dinner and recognition, recognition of Hopewell Rosenwald School, performance of Crowns by Bastrop Opera House players, and a dance with Austin’s DJ Crash. On Saturday, the event moves to downtown with a Main Street Parade, vendors and an evening Street Dance.
