Bastrop Music Festival is a celebration of the Lost Pines region of Texas and showcases the best of the state: extraordinary natural beauty, remarkable and talented people, an independent spirit and an amazing culture. More than 30 bands — with many styles of music represented — are expected to be showcased in at least five venues.

Bastrop Music Festival highlights the diversity of Bastrop with shows taking place in unique venues spread throughout the city. Because we are utilizing venues that are already operating (as opposed to creating outdoor concert venues) there is a more direct impact on the local economy. In addition, we encourage BMF attendees to enjoy a wide range of available activities in the region.

The staff at Texas Music magazine are uniquely positioned to orchestrate an event of this magnitude due to our contacts in the music industry as well as our experience in producing events. Bastrop Music Festival is brought to you by the producers of Viva Big Bend music festival. Viva Big Bend is a highly successful multi-day, multi-venue event held in the far West Texas communities of Marfa, Alpine, Marathon and Fort Davis each summer.
