Join us at Buescher State Park to celebrate the lake re-opening as we also celebrate 100 Years of Texas State Parks! The Buescher Lake Bash will be focusing on the wonderful fishing the lake provides including stations set up to help youngsters or those new to fishing learn all the beginner basics like fish identification, fish anatomy, knot tying, safely casting with backyard bass, tackle, regulations, ethics, and safety. Event includes loaner fishing poles with bait for those who would like to try fishing but don’t have the equipment to use. And there will be a fishing Santa photo opportunity!

This is one of many 100-year celebration events happening in Texas state parks this year. Entry to a park is free on the day it hosts an official 100-Year celebration event (applies to day passes only).
