Youth ages 9-12 will enjoy learning the skills in two sessions to create their own custom-made clay pot at the Mary Nichols Art Center in Smithville, Texas. Each student must attend both sessions for their finished pot.

• Session One (Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023) Get a feel for the clay, learn different hand building techniques, tutorial demo, leave art to dry and be fired.
• Session Two (Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2023) Return to fired art. Learn about glaze and hand paint the fired art. Final art will be fired after class and students will be notified when to pickup.
