Join REI for a weekend spent kayaking the Colorado River downstream of Austin bordering the Lost Pines Region in Bastrop County, Texas. This overnight paddling experience covers nearly 20 miles of beautiful river scenery, camping on a private campground, fireside breakfast and back to the water. Learn about the history and natural features of this river basin. Besides enjoying the scenery and great conversation, the guides will offer paddling tips and tricks to help in future adventures. Three sessions available.

This trip is recommended for those 14 and older and those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. Difficulty level is moderate. REI will provide all paddling and camping equipment, just bring your own sleeping bag and personal items.
