Enjoy the first Earth Day Event at Community Gardens just west of Bastrop. The eco-friendly event features Indigenous Peoples Blessing of the day and the land, local business, conscious vendors and trades, farm workshops with aquaponics, soil mixing, seed starting, tree planting, harvesting, “Bottle Brick” creations, composting, and compost worms.

The even also includes yoga classes, health and wellness, parent/child friendly activities.

Performances include celebration of indigenous and classical arts with live authentic Aztec dance ceremony by Danza Azteca Taxcayolotl (from Houston) and live music from local Austin artists.

Event is free to the public.
