Elgin Holiday by the Tracks is Sponsored by the Elgin Main Street Program! Event activities include a visit to the Elgin Depot Museum, Holiday Bazaar, Hot Cocoa Sip & Stroll, shopping specials throughout downtown, pictures with Santa throughout December. The Lighted Christmas Parade beings at dusk, following Main Street from the Elgin Memorial Park through downtown, sponsored by the Elgin Volunteer Fire Department. A live Nativity after the lighted Christmas Parade will be performed by St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
