December 15

December 15 @ 10:00 am - 3:30 pm

10:00am - 3:30pm

Kids love roasting things over an open fire, and at Earth Native Wilderness School, they will learn how to do it safely and with cooking techniques and skills, both fun and practical for barbecues, camping and more. Some of the sillier things seen roasting over the years include whole PB&J, orange slices, goldfish crackers, and even gummy bears!

In this class kids, ages 7-12, will learn a variety of cooking techniques such as:

  • Cooking an egg in an orange peel or bell pepper
  • Making stick bread and ash cakes
  • Cooking inside clay
  • Stick cooking
  • And lots more!
