ENWS: Primitive Fishing for Kids 2024

April 20

April 20 @ 10:00 am - 3:30 pm

10:00am - 3:30pm

Join us for a day of learning how to make your very own fishing kits from the land at Earth Native Wilderness School in Cedar Creek, Texas. You’ll use hand-lines made from materials that can be easily found in nature, get in plenty of casting practice, learn about freshwater fish ecology, and even have the chance to learn how to process and cook the fish you catch! Fishing is not only a survival skill but also a great way to connect to the natural world around you.

Ages 7-12. All youth classes are drop-off classes; parents do not attend.
