Expressions of African American Culture through music, dance and spoken word will be presented by Bastrop Opera House for two showings only.

This event is a salute to African American History Month featuring the culture, poetry, music, history and experiences of African Americans in the United States. Through songs, poems, spoken word and dance you will be exposed to the rich heritage that is the African American experience.

Performance features Dock Jackson, Nelia Kerr Greene, Erica Blaylock, Marlene Mitchell, Hope Aldridge, Rosemary Hodge, Byron Mitchell, La Shonda Reese, Michael Hale Trio, and Mac McIntosh.

Adults $10; Seniors, Veterans and Military $7; and youth under age 14, $5. Purchase tickets through the Bastrop Opera House.
