Join Earth Native Wilderness School for a family friendly day of fun, instruction, and nature games that will help you and your family begin to unlock the mysteries of bird communication.
For hundreds of thousands of years birds have been the sentries of the forest. As a necessity, they live lives of astute awareness and communicate to each other all of the forest’s “gossip.” Consequently, other animals have learned to eavesdrop on their communications and gain valuable insight into the bigger picture ebb and flow of daily life. Not only are the deer listening in, but so are the squirrels, bobcats, hawks, and otters, because in the woods, awareness is the most important rule. And you can now be in the loop too!
This class is specifically designed for families and a mix of children and adults. We’ll explore important bird language basics and techniques in a way that is fun as well as informative. Through skits, sits, and nature games you and your kids will learn this amazing new skill together that will make your future family outdoor explorations even more interesting and exciting.
Age 5 and up with adult accompaniment.
