The Founder’s Day event in Elgin, Texas will kick off with a formal program, recognizing Elgin founders aged 90+. They’ll also honor Elgin’s Hogeye roots, pay homage to railroad and agricultural ties, and recognize the role that Booker T. Washington played in the community, all while looking forward to and celebrating a much brighter future. After the program, there will be a variety of musical performances and an old-fashioned birthday party celebration with fun and activities for all ages.

This event is part of Elgin’s 150th Sesquicentennial celebrations which last throughout the year.
