The Hawk Walk at Rising Sun Vineyard in McDade, Texas, is an exciting interactive event that brings nature to you up close and personal. Meet with a falconer in a class of no more than 15 individuals and learn about human’s ancient relationship with raptors through falconry. Learn about the history of the art/sport, the equipment used and actually fly a hawk from tree to glove, or between participants gloves. Enjoy the thrill of a bird of prey interacting with a trusted human companion. Two afternoon sessions each day.

Participants must be at least 10 years of age. Anyone under the age of 18 must have parent/guardian present.
