History Talks 2024: Fairview Cemetery

Robbie Sanders, local historian and chair of the Fairview Cemetery Advisory Board, will tell the stories of Bastrop, Texas’ Fairview Cemetery at the first quarterly History Talk in the Pressley Meeting Room at Bastrop Public Library. Known for World War II “Angel babies,” the cemetery is also the resting place of notable veterans and citizens as Bastrop is one of the oldest towns in Texas, with roots to colonial days in Mexico territory.
