This IBCA International Bar-B-Que Cookers Association sanctioned event is held in Smithville, Texas as a fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Bastrop County. Think all the smells and tastes in this barbecue-immersed competitive event. In addition to the usual brisket, chicken and pork ribs, the competition also includes categories for Chef’s Choice, potato salad and dessert, plus a children’s cookoff. Cooks meetings and turn-in times are on the Friday.

Event also includes a dance with a live band, vendors, a Junior Rodeo, silent auction, Zoofari and more in this family-friendly, Memorial Day weekend event.
