Memories of special occasions need to have a special frame by making an artful fused glass picture frame to display that special 5×7 photo at the Lost Pines Art Center in Bastrop, Texas. You will learn to cut and nip pieces of fused glass, build your frame, and have it fused in a kiln. It will then be glued onto an acrylic standing display.

There are lots of fun ways to decorate the glass frame with glass embellishments!

All glass and materials provided, and no previous fusing knowledge is needed. Ages 14 and up welcomed.

Students will learn the basics of fusing glass together in a kiln. Instruction includes cutting glass, how a design can be realized with the use of different forms of glass, understanding the firing of a kiln, possibly a circle cutting demonstration, and other cool techniques.

Mark and Patricia Rendulic are excited to team up to share their passion and knowledge of the glass arts. They both have over 20 experience in all glass art forms.
