Join in the celebration for the 150th anniversary of McDade, Texas. The historic event includes a youth parade, kids’ games, square dance demonstration, musicians, a fortune telling booth, vendors, and food. At two o’clock, there will be a reenactment of historical events leading up to, and including, the big shootout on Christmas Day in 1883.

On Sunday, October 10th, at 9 a.m., downtown McDade, a pancake breakfast will be served followed by a community-wide church service. All are welcomed to attend the anniversary activities.
