Step into haunted when you go through the gates at Scream Hollow Halloween Park in Bastrop County east of Austin, Texas with haunted trails, mansions and hayrides, the Texas Halloween History Museum, live music and themed dining and merchandise experiences.

The Wicked Halloween Season begins Sept. 16, 2022 and runs Friday through Sunday until Halloween – that’s Oct. 31 for the novice. With 20 acres filled with multiple themed haunted trails and houses, you’ll be the prey to the many nightmare characters roaming the grounds. Travel in darkness through the Mansion of Terror Coven, Lost Pines Asylum, Wicked Darkness the Maze, or the night terrors of the Sinister Circus – yes, you can expect clowns! You can chose as many as you like to get the full experience.

There’s also a Hell on Wheels Haunted Hayride for a journey through deep woods to discover the ancient rituals of the wendigo forest demons – the only haunted hayride in Texas.

You can also enjoy live music, an outdoor seating area, and the dining, drink and merchandise experiences found at these wonderfully themed Coffin Cat Bar, Cackling Witch Cafe & Bakery, Madame Tinker’s Magic Emporium, Dragon’s Breath Tavern and Frank-n-stein Pub.

And do take time to visit the Texas Halloween History Museum with a history of Halloween from around the world, the influence of the holiday on the American culture, and a building filled with actual haunted artifacts from around the world.
