The Great Backyard Bird Count 2020

Show the wild birds some love by taking part in the 23rd Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) in Bastrop County. This year’s count begins on Valentine’s Day, Friday, Feb. 14, 2020 and continues through Monday, Feb. 17. Volunteers from around the world count the birds they see for at least 15 minutes on one or more days of the count. To participate, open a free account at birdcount.org, count your birds for 15 minutes, then add in your checklist online.
