Yesterfest 2023 highlights Bastrop, Texas’ diverse history through re-enactors, demonstrators, vendors, speakers, storytellers, and music. The event is smaller this year as it begins again and will engage visitors with a circa 1830s saloon and bowling alley, a Native American camp complete with teepee, a blacksmith demonstration, vendors along Pine Street, acoustic music performances (no sound systems blaring this year), and a Soap Box stand showcasing story tellers and speakers.

For the event attendee, begin at the Bastrop County Historical Society Museum & Visitor Center at 904 Main Street, collect a program/map of the event, and stroll through the museum. Now, steeped in Bastrop history, step outside and see history come alive along Pine and Water Streets.
