Currently located in the Kerr Community Center, the Bastrop County African American Cultural Center is open Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday 2-5 p.m. with Freedom Colony exhibits and much more information.

Celebrate Black History Month 2022 with our friends at the Bastrop County African American Cultural Center by visiting the Freedom Colonies Museum on the second floor of the Kerr Center. The exhibits include The Freedom Colonies, Charters of African American Service Groups, displays of African American culture, and facts and contributions of the African American community in Bastrop County.
