While the Hill Country rivers are flooded with big crowds and rowdy behavior, Bastrop River Company offers a quieter peaceful nature lovers paradise.
Down River Island Parties
Down River Island Parties are catered camping trips hosted by Bastrop River Company on the Colorado River just outside of Historically Hip Bastrop TX. The party includes a 3-hour down river kayaking trip to a fully outfitted campsite on an island in the river. All tents, sleeping accomodations, and fireside chairs are provided. As well as a catered buffett style dinner and breakfast tacos and coffee in the morning. It’s just a short paddle accross the stream to the takeout point after breakfast and a 5 mile drive back into town. Camping with a big group of friends has never been so easy and fun. Free shuttle service is included with all rentals.
