Independence Park

Independence Park, located at the intersection of Loop 230 at Hwy 95 west of the traffic light, is dedicated to Thomas Jefferson Gazley. The Convention of 1832 appointed Gazley a member of the subcommittee of safety and vigilance for the District of Bastrop. He was a delegate to the Convention of 1833.
