For a relaxing time in this charming 3 bedroom cabin with a cottage feel, just come out to the woods off Hwy 21 just 40 minutes each of Austin, Texas. With land filled with mature trees, the front porch invites you to sit a while and listen to the birds. The cabin offers hiking areas, a pond and the great outdoors, while inside you have a lux kitchen, laundry, and many other amenities for your stay.
Come enjoy the views from our gorgeous, serene double porches and relax in the wilderness with no other houses in sight. The Cottage at Lost Pines is a stand alone non-smoking guest house built in 2016 with gated access and 42 acres of fenced woodland, and is one of three properties at The Shire.
Located near the over 900 acre Lake Bastrop, Bastrop State Park, and the Colorado River Refuge, the Shire at Lost Pines is never too far from water sports or a day in nature. Enjoy visting Downtown Bastrop for shopping, movies, and restaurants just 15 minutes away!
The house has a well equipped kitchen and laundry with limited supplies such as coffee, creamer, sweetener, all the cleaning supplies and basics you should need for your stay. The house is also equipped with Wifi and a 50″ HD Smart TV that receives local broadcast stations. Please note that the internet connection can be slow at times due to our rural location. There is a fully functional fire place and outdoor fire pit with wood furnished for both. A back yard picnic table and propane grill with provided propane are on-site and available for your use.
