The Bastrop Stampede 5k in Fisherman’s Park in Bastrop, Texas, is the perfect way to kick off the holiday weekend so plan to bring your family, friends and the kids! There will be a fun Kids Mile at the race as well. After the races, stay for the finisher’s party and awards ceremony to celebrate your accomplishments, along with the daylong Bastrop Big Bang festivities and fireworks.

Awards will be given to the Overall Male/Female Winners (1st – 3rd) and Overall Masters Male/Female Winner (1st only). All kids will receive a finisher medal. All results will be posted online immediately after the event.

Walkers and runners are welcome. Packet pickup is Saturday from 6:30-7:30 a.m. at the park.

All proceeds will benefit Marathon Kids.
