Body + Shine Wellness is a destination yoga studio in Elgin, Texas offering professional, high quality yoga and meditation classes, wellness events and workshops, locally sourced retail merchandise and a sense of community that is possible only because of its downtown Elgin location.
The owner, Katy Gassaway, was previously teaching at a gym on the edge of town and moved her classes to a restored historic commercial building (28 N Main and known as Jones Drug Store built c. 1895) in 2016. Within a year, she had developed a following that supported renting the entire commercial storefront and officially opening the studio.
Body + Shine Wellness offers Yoga Flow, Meditation, Barre + Pilates + Yoga Hybrid, Yoga + HIIT Hybrid, cYoga and more.
