Just east of Austin along the banks of the Colorado River, Spiderwood Studios 969 is a traditional television and film studio with four purpose-built sound stages along with several production facilities and 200 acres of diverse production-friendly backlot. Spiderwood Studios 969 has plans to become a multi-platform creative campus serving the film, television, music, commercial, new media, AR/VR/XR and community at large.
It’s a place to film, it’s a place to create, and it’s a place where people come together to make their visions reality.
Over the next few years, Studio 969 has plans to expand into a multi-platform creative campus serving the film, television, commercial, new media, and the AR/VR/XR industries as well as the creative community at large for projects and production of any scale with a new world-class team and unique services and amenities. They are also partnering with the Art Institute of Austin with educational opportunities and class experience.
