ColoVista sits proudly atop dramatic cliffs with a spectacular view of the Colorado River and surrounded by the majestic Lost Pine trees of Texas, and breathtaking rolling hills and bluffs. What makes playing ColoVista an experience to remember is that it has two very different nines. The course’s signature hole, is a 191-yard No. 15, perched on a bluff overlooking the Colorado River, featuring a 200 foot drop from the tee to the green. Due to the wind, the best play is a hard punch shot to lessen its impact. The front nine plays in the valley and is a traditional links style course with wide open fairways, some water, several bunkers, and wind to contend with. The back nine is very different with tight tree lined fairways, huge elevation changes, rolling fairways with ups and downs and sharp dog legs, and beautiful scenery.
